unBELIZEable*
tortillas + red beans ‘n’ rice =HAPPY HANK
We ALL climbed this Mayan ruin, Xunantunich. From the top we saw howler monkeys, mahogany trees, tucans, and Guatemala!
Checking out the baby green iguanas at the Iguana Project hatchery
drinking my first banana, orange and honey (soy) milkshake at Da Shak in Placencia
we took this crazy hand-cranked ferry across the Mopan River in San Juan Succotz
checking out the parrots at Robert’s Grove Inn, Seine Bight, Belize
keeping hydrated at the Maya Beach Bistro in Maya Beach, Belize
hiking through the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary
(this is technically a jaguar reserve and it is also where something growled at mommy and she almost peed in her pants)
oh, and don’t forget the bed dancing!
* I had to name this entry “unBELIZEable” because our tour guide, Eduardo, kept saying that phrase at Xunantunich and he even had it on his hat…sort of the country’s motto.

Cute pics. Rorie loved the pina in agua shakes in Costa Rica (it runs in the family). She had the same Keens as Hank too. I should have sent you hers for Hank to wear. We are getting new ones this week since they are onsale at REI, hopefullythey will still fit in 2 months.
It looks like you guys have had a great adventure! I love the face Hankie is making in the iguana photo. He’s totally thinking, “WTF is on my papa?” We’ll have to get the kids together & have some lunch when you get back. I can’t wait to hear all about your trip! You know, it’s unfortunate that you are missing tornado season here in the land of Oz. It’s the most action KS gets all year!!
See ya soon!
